Garnier brusher microbead scrub
A while ago, I purchased this scrub from a walmart near my house. My skin was going out of hand those days, so I thought why not! It's 150ml, cost about $4, and comes in dry skin, combination, and oily skin. Not a bad deal.
The packaging was quite nice because the lid was clear and the bottle itself was translucent, which allowed me to see how the brush was, as well as the product inside the bottle.
The durability of the bottle is really good too. I can say this because it's been through a lot (lets just say, many roller coasters and still managed to not leak!) and it's still in perfect condition! No gel residue all over my bathroom counter!
Application is simple and easy, not to mention mess free, thanks to the brush included on top of the bottle!
There is a tiny hole that the gel comes out through and seeps around the bristles onto your skin. As you massage your face in circular motions with the bottle, The gel, gently yet effectively gets into your skin and gets rid of all the oil and dead skin cells, ect. (Did I mention that it has a twist cap for those with children!)
The consistency of the product is sort of liquidy. Although it is said to be a gel, it is pretty easy to let it flow without the use of any force. But since the bottle is leak free (I have found from personal experience), the only possibility of it leaking is if you decide to leave the bottle completely upside down without the lid. -.- (why would you do that??) So, if you're one to care to about that, you've got nothing to worry about.
After I applied it for about a week (gentle enough to use everyday) or so, I noticed a huge difference! There was much less acne, and the scars from the ones before started healing. This scrub worked like a charm! By now, I am quite sure i have purchased it more than enough times. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who likes a cheap, mess free, perfect scrub!

Review: Royal Platinum Eau De Parfume
Today, I'm going to review this new fragrance company I found at the drugstore! Its called Royal Platinum and they make clones of the brand name perfumes. I recently bought the Paris Hilton one and one of 'the one' by Dolce and Gabana! They are extremely affordable (got each for $5) and they do smell like the real ones! Staying power is not too bad (The Paris Hilton one stays on my clothes for theeee longest time! Even after the washes!) and the amount considering the price is pretty good too. If your familiar with the scents, the Paris Hilton one smells like a fruity sensation with a bit of elegance to it, and the D and G one smells like vanilla with a side or orchids! Or maybe i'm a bit off with the scents. I'm sorry I don't know how to describe them. But, I highly recommend them to everyone, whether your looking for a new scent to try and if you just want to grow your collection. These are perfect for a casual day or even formal (I wore 'the one' to my grad!). They also have a mens line too, by the way. Oh, and did I mention they have gorgeous bottles (or at least I think they are).

Review: St.Ives naturally clear apricot scrub
So to start of the review section of this blog, I chose to review my scrub that I have been using for some time now. It is the naturally clear blemish and blackhead clearing apricot scrub by St.Ives. I'm pretty serious and conscious of my skin so finding the right product is really complicated. You must be wondering why that is (isn't everyone conscious of their skin?..), but if you read on, you'll soon find out.
First, i'm going to tell you guys about my skin so you sort of have an idea of what I have to choose products based on. My skin is fairly oily (but not overly) but when I wash it it dries out extremely fast, to the point that I feel as if it was going to rip any second. That for me is the biggest fact to look at when choosing any product. But the second fact I look at is the sensitivity of my skin! My skin is extremely sensitive so when ever I use a product that doesn't suite my skin, it will react. Usually the reaction is pretty bad, because it causes many zits and marks in less than an hour. And when I get zits and marks, they stay for what seems like a lifetime. My skin is also fair/light, so the marks and leftovers are totally visible which make me sooo mad/sad/discouraged about everything. Now you know why i'm so conscious and what my skin is like! Now back to the review!
We were going to go on vacation with the rest of the family when I started breaking out really badly. We were shopping when I came across the skincare aisle. I walked through the aisle, eyeing almost everything because it all looked so good. But there was 1 thing that really caught my attention. Can you guess what that might be? That's right, this apricot scrub. It looked so simple and I loved that is had a fruit aspect to it. (My skin usually does better with organic products) So I bought a bottle to take on vacay with me and tried it. I absolutely loveeed it!! Yes, it has a tad bit big granules but that's what really got deep into my skin and cleansed so nicely. After washing it off, I noticed that my skin was baby bottom smooth and soft, not to mention, Not Dry At All! I felt like my skin skin was just amazing! It doesn't only cleanse but it also makes my skin look so (or maybe its just me) white. This is the first product I have ever found that is not only cheap (was like $6) but also very effective! I would totally recommend it to everyone! It works for every type skin (got my cousins and mom to try it, worked great!). So next time your at the store and looking for a new scrub, give this one a go!
